Last week, Conservative Concerned national staff and state chapter leaders from Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas gathered in Utah’s capital city to review recent activities, plan ahead, and develop long-term strategies toward making the death penalty a relic of the past in the United States.
The team also caught up with partners and allies from the Beehive State. The state’s execution last month, its first in 14 years, has revived conversations among Utahns questioning a system marked by inefficiency, inequity, and inaccuracy.
