FIND ME ON:

Nicholas Cote is the Director of Operations and Development for Conservatives Concerned. His responsibilities include developing the organization’s strategic plans, identifying new supporters, building the organization’s reach and capacity, and implementing field and digital strategies to educate, organize, and mobilize conservatives in critical campaigns. He also manages Conservatives Concerned’s programs to end the death penalty in the western United States.

Nicholas joined Conservatives Concerned full-time in 2022, but he first signed up as a grassroots activist in 2014 when he learned about the organization at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The following year, he joined the Board of Directors of Virginians for Alternatives to the Death after Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe pushed for legislation to keep taxpayers in the dark about the state’s procurement of lethal injection drugs. Nicholas successfully worked with a bipartisan coalition of partners and allies to end capital punishment in Virginia in 2021.

His previous experience includes roles in communications and development at the National Right to Work Foundation, which provides free legal aid to American workers victimized by compulsory unionism abuses. At National Right to Work, Nicholas educated workers about their freedom of association and raised funds to support litigation efforts like the landmark Janus v. AFSCME U.S. Supreme Court victory for independent-minded civil servants.

Nicholas received his bachelor’s degree in political science and American studies from Providence College. He lives outside Las Vegas, Nevada. In June 2026, he was appointed to the Boulder City Library Board of Trustees.
