Brett Farley

Oklahoma State Director

FIND ME ON:

Brett Farley is the founding director of Oklahoma Conservatives Concerned. Under his leadership, the organization successfully passed moratorium legislation from committees both in the Oklahoma House and Senate as part of the broader campaign to build the coalition of elected conservatives who question the death penalty in Oklahoma. Brett also serves as the Executive Director for the Catholic Conference of Oklahoma.

He is the co-founder of the Faithful Citizenship Institute, an organization that empowers Catholic policy leaders with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively implement Catholic moral teachings.

Brett’s professional background includes more than 30 years in Republican politics. As a senior at the University of Oklahoma, he was an ardent supporter of the death penalty – until the day he discovered the data that demonstrates how unbalanced, costly, error-prone, and inconsistent with a prolife ethic it is. From that moment on, he became an Oklahoma conservative opposed to the death penalty.

He and his wife Jessica have been married for 28 years and together they have four daughters. They reside in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
