JULY 8, 2026 – Conservatives Concerned is growing! We’re excited to announce the launch of Georgia Conservatives Concerned, our newest state chapter.
The latest addition to our network reflects the increasing number of conservatives who believe the death penalty is inconsistent with our values of limited government, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and a culture of life. Georgia Conservatives Concerned has already hit the ground running by engaging new audiences, building relationships with state leaders, and equipping conservatives with the resources they need to speak out.
Leading this effort is Lauren Luxenburg, a seasoned conservative strategist with experience in public policy, communications, polling, and grassroots advocacy.
She began her career in South Carolina, serving as an intern for both the South Carolina Republican Party and the South Carolina Senate. Lauren went on to work for Americans for Prosperity as a statewide field director, advancing policies rooted in limited government, individual liberty, and free-market principles.
Lauren later headed up polling and communications for the Republican Governors Association, helping shape messaging and political strategy for gubernatorial campaigns across the country. She also served as a Communications and Policy Analyst in the Texas Senate. Her career also includes extensive consulting experience at a variety of GOP firms including WPAi, National Research Inc., Raconteur Media Company, and more.
